This is the first time I went to Canada!

What they did in Iran was weird. Why did they not let anyone go on facebook? Was because someone is using it to help their campaign? I’m not too sure about that, but if that is the reason, they shouldn’t have done it. That isn’t a good enough reason to bann facebook. I think they also banned twitter. I’m not sure what twitter is, but I hear about it a lot! I just don’t think that was a good enough reason to have facebook and twitter banned.

Today is the 26th of May, it is also a Tuesday. This means my birthday is in 2 days!!!!! I can’t wait! I will be turning 13. I don’t know at what time though. One of my favorite parts is the presents! Haha , and of course the cake. I will probably just be having my grandparents over for some cake. Than over the weekend I will have a little party with my friends. I’m sure it will be fun.

This summer I hope I can go somewhere fun. I usualy never go on vacation . I want to go camping with my cousins. That sounds really fun. Another thing I hope I can do is go to Cedar Point. I went for the first time one or two years ago. I didn’t go on any roller coasters though. It was still very fun. If I go this year I really want to go on a roller coaster. I hope I get to go to California or to visit my cousins in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is in a Country in the Middle East. I have never been in a plane before. I just hope I don’t do the same thing I do every summer, sit home and watch t.v. That is so boring! I want to do something fun!

This challenge has improved my communication skills by having people comment on my posts. They usually ask questions which I answer on their blog. Then I ask them a question and the then they answer and so on. The posts help start conversations. Blogging can be important in my school curriculum by learning communication skills and learning other things. We can learn about all the other countries that participate in edublogs. I would take part in another challenge because it is a good way to communicate with the other bloggers. If they think my post is interesting they will leave a comment.

This year is almost over. I am very excited for school to end. This year has been a good one. All my teachers were nice. The classes weren’t too hard.
It has been boring at some times, but usually it is okay.
One surprise was that we were going on a field trip. In the beginning of the year we were told that we were not gonna be having field trips this year. Our field trip was to the movie “Earth”. It was a really nice movie. We went to a really small theater in Grand Ledge. Almost two-hundred seventh graders went to see the movie.
An achievement I am proud of is that I have gotten good grades. The sad part is they weren’t all A’s. I have gotten a few B’s. But I think my grades are still good. If my parents approve of my grades, I’m happy . Having good grades is a very achievement.
The weirdest thing that has happened this school year would be making cell models. We used play-doh, batteries, a wii controller, and some other stuff. After almost one day, weird stuff came out of the batteries. It looked really weird and nasty. I forgot what grade we got on it but I’m sure it was good .
I will miss having easy classes. I really hope it isn’t too hard in 8th grade. All my teachers were cool too. They were all some what nice . I’m just kidding! They were all very nice.
I’m looking forward to see who my teachers will be next year. I’m probably gonna get the same teachers my brother and sister had when they were in 8th grade. That’s what usually happens. I also want to see who will be in my classes. I hope at least my friend is in one of my classes.

My family does not recycle. My school recycles water bottles and paper. They probably recycle other stuff that I don’t know about. Our school reuses by using papers that someone has already used, and using them when we need it. When we have packets and they have a lot of pages in them, we make one set for all the classes to share. That is one way we reduce. We recycle to help the environment.

Another sport that I think is fun is soccer. I have never played it on a team . Neither has my brother. I’m not that good at it, but I’m not the worst. I also play it at my grandparents house. My uncle used to play soccer. But one time when he was playing soccer, he hurt his knee. He had to have surgery on it. But he is okay now. Have you ever played soccer before and would you consider it to be your favorite sport?

Another sport I like is football. It is also a very fun sport. But, of course, I haven’t played it on a team. I think it would be fun to play on a team. But, I think it would probably be hard for me to play it. My mom won’t even let me play it. I play catch with the football with my brother and my cousins when we go to my grandparents house. My brother used to play football. My brother also watches almost all the sports on the television. But the Detroit Lions are not considered the best team in the NFL.
